Most Common Writing Mistakes, Pt. 59: Overly Complex Plots – Helping Writers Become Authors

A plot that has too many moving parts, characters, or sub-plots can really confuse your readers and cause them to stop reading put your book down. That is a bad thing.

 

The problem of overly complex plots is really the problem of authors writing stories they either fail to fully understand and/or aren’t in control of.
